General English
Build listening and speaking foundations across everyday scenarios.
About This Course
Many people have studied English for years — they know plenty of words and can answer grammar questions — yet freeze in real situations: they catch the gist but cannot reply, or have a sentence in mind and dare not say it. This General English course is built to break that “mute English” cycle. Instead of marching through a textbook page by page, it organises pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar around the situations you actually meet, recasting them as language you can say right away.
The programme is aligned with the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) and progresses in clear stages from A1 beginner to B1 intermediate. Before you start, a 1-on-1 placement interview sets your level and pace, and every unit maps to a testable Can-do goal — ordering a meal, describing symptoms to a doctor, or telling a coherent story about your weekend — so progress is visible rather than assumed.
Lessons are live, 1-on-1 and 25 minutes long — short, high-frequency sessions. Second-language research consistently favours comprehensible input paired with immediate oral output over passive listening, and the 1-on-1 format keeps you speaking for almost the whole lesson while your tutor corrects gently through recasts, improving accuracy without denting confidence. On completing the A1→B1 path you will handle familiar topics and most travel and daily tasks with growing fluency, and have a solid base for moving on to higher levels.

Why the Method Works
Evidence and principles behind the course, not just promises.
The syllabus follows the CEFR, with every unit tied to a testable Can-do statement rather than a vague sense of progress.
Lessons use high-frequency oral interaction: second-language research consistently favours comprehensible input plus immediate output over passive listening, and 1-on-1 sessions maximise speaking time within each 25 minutes.
Your tutor corrects mainly through gentle recasts — improving accuracy without breaking your confidence to speak.
